| A. Minimum Academic Qualifications for MCA |
|
| Should be a pass with at least 50% marks(45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC Category) in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level. OR Should be a pass with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC Category) in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects. OR Should be a pass with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC Category) in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University |

1. If there is any change in minimum academic qualification in terms of percentage for private institute for the session 2011-12, it will be incorporated at the time of counseling. |

| Basis of admission for MCA: Admissions shall be made on the basis of the inter se merit of OLET (MCA)-2011 conducted by HSCS through NIC. B. Kashmiri Migrants |

| One seat in each University/ Institute is reserved for Kashmiri migrants for MCA & this seat is to be filled up on supernumerary basis on the inter-se merit of percentage of qualifying exam through Online counseling at www.tehadmissions.gov.in. by Haryana State Counseling Society. |

| Tie breaking criteria for Kashmiri Migrants: |
| The following criteria will be followed to break-up the tie if two candidates secure the same marks in qualifying Examination. |
|
a. The candidate who have secured higher marks in the aggregate of 10+2 exam. shall rank higher in order of merit.
b. The candidate who is elder in age shall rank higher in order of merit. |
|
| Note for Kashmiri Migrant: |
|
a. Generate your Roll No. by clicking “Payment Registration” link on www.hscs.org (or) www.hscs.net.in & pay counseling fee.
b. The candidates applying under Kashmiri Migrants (K.M.) will produce a certificate in the support of their claim from the competent authority or Relief commissioner.
c. Candidate if any simultaneously applying for more than one options i.e. through Online Entrance Test (OLET-2011) & under Kashmiri Migrants (KM ) Quota are required to apply separately and deposit the separate counseling fee i.e. Rs.500/- (non-refundable) , through www.hscs.org ( or) www.hscs.net.in before submitting the Application Form. After the display of merit list, candidate
has to participate in Online Off-campus counseling by NIC through www.tehadmissions.gov.in , separately for each category.
d. In addition to above, Candidate(S) Who Are Applying For MCA-2011 Under Kashmiri Migrant Quota Are Also Required To Submit Merit Calculation Form Available At Annexure -XII Dully Attested Alongwith Attested Copies Of Qualifying Exam & All Relevant Documents. |

| Note: |

1. Mere possession of the prescribed academic qualifications does not entitle a candidate for admission to MCA course. Candidates would be required to fulfill other conditions as spelt out in the Admission Brochure.
2. Candidates, who are appearing in the qualifying examination this year and are expecting to pass the same, can also compete for counseling for MCA.
3. Fulfilling of eligibility for MCA w.r.t. qualification and percentage of qualifying examination shall be proved by the candidate not at the time of seat allotment but at the time of reporting by the candidate at the institute. A candidate may not be eligible on the 1st day of counseling but may be eligible on subsequent days of counseling due to the reasons, whatsoever. The candidate may seek admission at his/her own risk and cost and if he/she is found in-eligible, his/her entire dues shall be forfeited and his/her admission shall be cancelled for which he/she shall have no claim, whatsoever.
4. Candidates having passed Mathematics/ Statistics in one semester/ in one year (as the case may be) shall be considered eligible for MCA.
5. Candidate if any simultaneously applying for more than one option i.e.OLET-2011, Kashmiri Migrants (KM ) Quota are required to apply separately and deposit separate counseling fee i.e. Rs.500/- (non-refundable) for each option through www.hscs.org or www.hscs.net.in before submitting the Form. | The candidate must have the qualifying degree as a regular student from any university
recognized by UGC / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with min. 55% marks( 50% marks
in case of SC/ST) in aggregate. Preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE score. |

| B.Tech. (Three-year programme) through Lateral Engineering Entry Test: |

| The candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology course with minimum
duration of three years from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least
60% marks in aggregate of all semesters in any branch mentioned in the Admission Brochure
issued by HSCS. The candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics securing 50 % marks
are also eligible. Details regarding procedure for admission on the basis of LEET rank in

categories, the candidate should have secured minimum pass marks in the qualifying

| B.Pharmacy |
|
| Must have passed 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and
Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Mathematics,
Bio-Technology, Computer Science, and Biology. |

| This programme is on the guidelines issued by AICTE. The direct entry to 1st year as well as
lateral entry to 2nd year of B.Pharmacy is through OLET Pharma (online entrance test). It is
mandatory for every candidate to register himself/herself through counselling website.

| B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): |
|
| Should be a graduate from a recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate. Admission to
B.Ed course is on merit basis through the counselling process as per the directions of any of the
state universities. |

| M.Ed. (Master of Education): |
|
| B.Ed. graduate from M.D. University or equivalent with min 50% marks. Admission to M.Ed
course is on merit, i.e. 50%of the B.Ed Exam marks and 50% of the Entrance exam marks
conducted by any of the state universities. |

| D.Ed. (Diploma in Education): |
|
| Should have passed Sr. Sec. (10+2) from a recognized Board. Admission to this course is as per
the directions of the regulating authority. |
