Advanced Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year 2007 for conducting B. Pharmacy (4 year) degree programme. The course is affiliated to Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and approved by AICTE and PCI* for an annual intake of 60 students. The Institute aims to impart quality education and research in the field of pharmaceutical Sciences. It focusses on learning through teaching methods such as lectures, seminars, study projects, tutorials, practical assignments, interactive sessions and training programme.
The institute has adequate infrastructure, laboratory facilities, computer centre, herbal medicinal garden and treasure trove of books for the students. The Institute not only achieves excellence in Technical Education & Research but also adds value to the students' personality through its Personality Development Programme, participation in seminars, debates, games & sports. Recently a National Pharmacy Week, with the theme 'Know your Pharmacist for right use of Prescription drug' and AICTE/ISTE sponsored seminar was organized for exposing the students in the recent areas of research, Medical Devices and importance of regulations. This discipline has wide applications in the field of Production & Manufacturing, Research & Development, Analysis, Marketing, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, Academics, Regulatoy affairs, Biotechnology, Genomics and Clinical Research. |
