 Nayi Disha is a charitable social welfare organization established in the year 2010 by some volunteers from Advanced Educational Institutions who have a feeling and wish to help the people in the neglected and below poverty line segment to come out of their conditions and circumstances and improve their life. We believe that Education is the only tool which can uplift the condition of the people living in extreme poverty conditions. Our mission is to provide effective and rich learning along with skill building opportunities to those poor underprivileged children who otherwise would remain deprived of education due to their socioeconomic and family conditions.
Nayi Disha plans to work on various social welfare projects. In our first project - Literacy Project, poor children from nearby villages will be gathered and brought to the institute for teaching them and then carry them back to their respective places. We shall provide the children a learning atmosphere wherein children are self motivated and get opportunity of expression and creativity. Only those children will be initially enrolled who are not able to go to school due to any reason from the age group ranging from 4 years to 7 years. The students will be enrolled only after the written request and consent of their parents. Each student will be taught for two semesters. After first semester each student will be evaluated for attendance, learning ability, aptitude to learn and progress. Only those who are found interested in learning will be promoted to the second semester. In two semesters, our aim is to provide the students the following basic education and skills. |

| To motivate them and to generate their interest in learning and attending the classes regularly. |

| Reading and writing of Hindi and to read and write small words of English. |
|
| Simple calculations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. |
|
| To teach them about personal hygiene and cleanliness in the surroundings. |
|
| Good habits and social values. |
|
| Some general knowledge about geography and administration of India. |
|
| Recreational and musical activities. |

| In future, Nayi Disha plans to take up other social work projects as listed below. |
|
| To provide some basic amenities to girls schools in villages. |
|
| To identify and help the poor and talented students. |
|
| To educate the society about traffic rules. |
|
| To educate the people in villages about sanitation and personal hygiene. |
|
| To conduct some courses like basic computer education for village students. |
|
